olusegun 'sheg' aranmolate

was born on March 26, 1983 in Lagos, Nigeria. He was raised by his father, a renowned British trained plastic surgeon, and his mother, a retired medical radiographer. He is the only son and fourth child of five children. His parents always stressed the value of a good education and hard work, and by age eight, Sheg had already started observing his father at work in his hospital. During those visits, Sheg watched his father help the sick and started developing a strong sense of compassion for the less fortunate. By the young age of twelve, he already had a strong desire to study medicine and become a surgeon like his father.

Sheg came alone to the United States in July 2001 at the age of eighteen in pursuit of a college and medical degree. He attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where he earned a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a minor degree in Psychology.  After his undergraduate education, he spent another year at UMBC in graduate school, conducting scientific research. He completed his thesis at the age twenty-two and graduated in May 2006 with a Masters degree in Applied Molecular Biology.

Sheg is a young, well-respected motivational writer and prolific speaker. He is a philanthropist, an activist, a fashion model, the co-founder of the Aranmolate Foundation for Deformed Children, and the founder of the Inspivia, Inc. His personal experiences and interactions with people as a fitness instructor, a scientist, and a fashion model has enabled him to formulate several unique approaches to life coaching that combines core elements of motivational speaking with the rigor of fitness training. Sheg was featured on the ABC smash hit show, Oprah’s Big Give, was selected as 1 of the 25 most beautiful people in Nashville by Nashville Lifestyles Magazine, and was selected as 1 of the 21 young leaders under 30 by Ebony Magazine in 2009.
